Tara's and Dad's battles

Over the coming weeks and months I aim to document Tara's progress as she battles her way back to full health after a very serious illness.

I also want to document my own progress as I take up the fight to gain enough strength to cycle over the Atlas Mountains in Morocco in May 2010 to raise funds for King's College Hospital!

Update: I now need to get fit for 2 challenges - not just the cycle in Morocco - but also a Trek to Everest Base Camp in November 2010. This is due to the generosity of all the people who have heard tara's tale, because the target required for the trip over the Atlas Mountains was raised in just a week! And since the aim is to also raise the profile of childhood brain tumours so that more might be done to find cures, another challenge was needed. Everest seemed appropriate!
