Spinning right round baby right round

On this blog a couple of weeks ago, I said about Tara that, “we do still get the odd wobble (mostly when she turns)."  Watching her today spin around and around I realised that I should make another 'health check' entry.

The wobbles have all but gone now. Instead, one of Tara's favourite games is spinning around and around. And all whilst giggling away! It makes it really difficult to believe that we were warned the brain tumour could affect her moods, and that she might become an angry little child! I remember when we first took her home late on 17th August 2009 that she threw a tantrum almost all the way back from the hospital to Brighton, and we thought that was just a taste of things to come. Well, it turns out she was suffering from raised pressure on her brain due to Hydrocyphalus. You'd be angry too! Now that the shunt is doing it's thing we're left with such a happy child!

Tara is still squinting (especially first thing in the morning), but as soon as she gets her glasses on, I barely notice it. Otherwise she looks fantastic - I can't believe how far we've come these past 3 months!
