LEJOG Day 4

Wye Valley through Hereford and onto Shrewsbury today. 90 miles, top speed 36.4, average 12.1. It was quite a slog into the wind, and pretty tough before lunch, especially as my left knee was sore. I've bought some "Biofreeze" - hopefully that will help. Spent much of this afternoon riding with Ed, a Shropshire lad who runs a Brewery. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to sample his beer, but we did get a chance to stop by his sisters, in Bishops Castle (about 23 miles outside Shrewsbury), for tea and cake. Lovely.
